About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join our team, to grow our customer base in the UK & Ireland.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in high-stakes environments and is adept at navigating complex sales cycles to drive revenue growth and build relationships with target accounts.
Our UK office is based in London. This fully remote role will be based in Manchester / surrounds area.
Key Responsibilities:
Exceed sales quota by driving self-created new business, handling inbound enquiries, and working with strategic accounts to grow revenue through upsells
Identify and close quick, small wins to generate a reliable deal flow
Manage longer, complex sales cycles leading to long term customers
Close new business deals by developing and negotiating contracts
Identify, prioritise and qualify prospects and drive them through the sales process to contract
Cultivate relationships with customers, decision-makers, and thought leaders
Analyse sales metrics data to help evolve your sales strategy
Build and maintain a robust client pipeline and demonstrate that using Salesforce, as your single source of truth
Actively gather client feedback and share across internal teams
Stay up to date on ongoing new product features and their potential impact on new prospects and clients
📚 Your Story
3+ years of ‘solution sales’ experience with a technical product
Track record closing deals at £20,000+ per annum
You were successful, in prospecting, pipeline development, and exceeding quotas
You have worked in an early-stage or small company, and know how to sell to large organisations without the backing of a category leading brand
You are comfortable pitching senior executives, which requires both understanding their strategic objectives and the ability to position what you are selling to meet their objectives
You are passionate about winning new customers
You enjoy negotiating deals, maximising long-term value for both your company and your customer
You are a storyteller able to compellingly convey how our product creates value for each customer
Proven prospecting and pipeline development - demand generation
It’s a bonus if you bring:
Experience with Salesforce
Previous persuasion + demand generation training
